It's the first Sunday in Advent. Advent means "coming" - it is a season in which we prepare to celebrate Christ's first coming to the world as a babe in Bethlehem. In Advent, we also look forward to Christ's second coming when he will finally put the world right. This Advent, we'll be exploring our calling as a church in this in-between period. We're called to be a people of faith. What does it mean to live as a people of faith in today's world? We'll explore today.
