As we enter the month of November, it will soon be time to celebrate
Thanksgiving. As Christians, we are called to be a people of
gratitude and thanksgiving, remembering all of God’s good gifts to
us. Though it has been a tough 18 months or so with the ongoing
pandemic, we have much for which to be thankful. We’re thankful
for masks and vaccines, for technology and creative ways to connect.

We’re thankful that God has given us the ingenuity to find new ways to be the
church and do ministry in our community as God’s people. Though our
celebrations may look a bit different this year, let us all take time to
remember God’s goodness to us.

During this season of giving thanks, let me begin by saying thank you! Thank
you for your ongoing support of the ministries and missions of our church.
Thanks for rising to the challenge of COVID-19 and being faithful and resilient!
Your dedication and commitment to our church truly inspires me, and bears
witness to God’s grace at work in our midst. For your dedication of time,
talents and resources to our church, week after week and year after year,
thank you! Your generous gifts and commitment to our congregation make all
we do possible.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for
this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 17-18

With enthusiastic gratitude, appreciation, and overflowing love,

Blessings,

 Hilary
