Last week, the northern kingdom was sent into exile. This week, it's the southern kingdom's turn. Because of their covenant unfaithfulness, God sends Judah into exile in Babylon. This traumatic event forces Judah to wrestle with big questions like, "Where is God in all this?" and "Has God abandoned us forever?" There's hope amidst the judgment, not just for Judah but for all of us. Exile is not the final answer for humanity.
