Holy Week Schedule
Posted: March 19, 2017The days leading up to Easter are sacred and complicated days in our calendar, and there will be many different ways this week to experience the journey through the cross towards resurrection. Join with friends across the presbytery as we remember, watch, and wait.
Maundy Thursday, April 13: We remember the Last Supper and Jesus’ betrayal
6:30 pm – Worship at 1st Presbyterian Church, Newark
Good Friday, April 14: We mourn Christ’s crucifixion and death
Noon – 3 pm – Head of Christiana sanctuary open for prayer and meditation
Easter Sunday, April 16: We celebrate – Christ is risen! Alleluia!
7 am – Worship on the lawn at Head of Christiana, followed by Continental breakfast in the Chapel Hall
11 am – Worship at Head of Christiana, followed by refreshments in the Chapel Hall
